Training, training, and more training.

My title pretty much sums it up what i've been doing the past few days. I spent 6 days out in the field with my unit providing medical support as they practiced on the gunnery range. Another soldier I was in iraq last time joined linked up with our unit a couple days ago. There are a few other soldiers I was deployed with last time in my unit. It's good to see old friends again and to know we are deploying together. Most importantly is know God is with me. He will never leave me. Some trust in armour but will remember the name of our Lord.

12 - hr Pass in Savannah, Georgia

Yesterday I had a 12 hr pass. I started off with going to the beach, which was really nice. I then went to the Savannah Mall (1,000,000 sq feet). While at the mall I was to talk to another soldier about God for a couple of hours. He is interested in having a Bible Study. Thank you Jesus!

White Board Day

Yesterday their was no scheduled events, hence the name "White Board". I was able to sit around most of the day. The previous three days was filled more Army training.

Fort Stewart

I am in Fort Stewart GA now and despite the lack of sleep I've been able to do some really good training. I recently did some emergency trauma training and I learned a lot, it was the best training I've done. Today, I learned some non-lethal tactics which could be useful. I think about the armour of God in Ephesians 6; with the Spirit of God we can pull down spiritual strong holds.

Camp Roberts

Another day at Camp Roberts has sunset. Yesterday's period of instuction covered "react to fire" and such. This morning I learned some more "army combatives"; some good hoo ah training!

A Day At The Airport

I have arrived at Camp Roberts. I had the oportunity to spend most of the day at the airport in San Jose which was nice because it allowed me to see my wife and son using Yahoo Messenger. The USO has a lobby at the airport where military personnel can hang out and they provide free refreshments. I think it was about 80* at the airport.

CMAST Graduation

Graduation was from 8 - 10 then I has the rest of the day off.
